  • Rankings allow players of ALL skill levels to compete. From the WSOW champs to the casual weekend warriors. Rankings give everyone an equal shot to compete and (hopefully) win.

Rankings allow players of multiple skill levels to compete. The beauty of life is that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. People have different priorities and obligations to take care of first before gaming. Some players are extremely talented, and some don’t have as much talent. Some people have the time to work hard and get better at a game, while some do not. Whether they’re weekend warriors or a pros, people still want a chance to compete. Gaming, after all, is an inclusive pastime/hobby at its core.

  • Say we host a 23-cap 2v2. You and your teammates’ combined rank must be less than or equal to 23. The same principle applies to all other formats.

  • A Team Kill Race (TKR) is where players compete as a team of 2, 3, or 4 in public lobbies. Teams have the freedom to choose their starting date and time, this format offers the most flexibility for competitors. Teams then compete for 3 hours after their self-assigned start time. After their 3 hours are up, the team submits their best 4 games to calculate their final score. The final score is based on team eliminations (kills) and placement in those best 4 games. Prizes are given to the top 3 teams.

  • Our 2v2 competition is a bracket style event. All teams and competitors compete at the same designated time by GHML based on community availability and feedback. Two separate teams of 2 join each other in a quads lobby where they compete against one another in a kill race. The rules are simple, the team who has the most kills at the end of the game wins. The winning team moves onto the next round and the losers fall to the loser bracket, where they can still compete for a chance to win the competition. The top bracket is the best of 3 games and the loser’s bracket is best of 1. Teams battle it out until the winner of the top bracket and the winner of the loser’s bracket compete one last time. The team from the winners bracket just must beat the losers once BUT the team from the loser’s bracket must beat the other team twice to win. Prizes are given to the final two teams in the competition.
Note: When the prize pool is more than $1000, there will be a loser’s bracket, anything under $1000 and it will be single elimination where the winner advances and the loser is “sent home”.

  • Everyone who signs up for the tournament gets randomly paired with a teammate via a wheel spin. After teams have been randomly assigned, a 5-minute timer starts. Either individually or collectively as a group, people can pay for a re-spin to get a new teammate.

The wheel spins keep going until the re-spins aren't paid for anymore. At this point, the teams are set! Switcharoos are a fun way to play with new people and increase the prize pool.

  • Customs competition is where teams of 2, 3, or 4 compete against each other in a custom, private lobby at a time set by GHML based on community availability and feedback. This competition is held over a set number of games. The team’s scores are calculated based on eliminations (kills) and placement from their best games. Prizes are given to the top 3 teams in the competition.
